Job Descriptions:

This position will support both sales and event planning teams. Responsibilities will include being the liaison between sales and event planning, assisting with preparing sales agreements, coordinating and preparing group and event business. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, thefollowing:
  • Selling membership.
  • Maintain guest accounts to ensure correct/current information at all times. Set-up functions for new account.
  • Host site visits, property tours and tastings for clients.
  • Attend on-property and off-property community and networking events to assist in business development for Event Sales.
  • Solicit via email, phone and in-person to companies and clients for future business opportunities.
  • Communicate with Sales Managers and other departments to attend to guest needs.
  • Build/maintain relationships with clients (i.e. information on birthday and special events).
  • Assist with the coordination of detailing events.
  • Ability to be organized and manage time efficiently.
  • Ensure client satisfaction while assists in achieving a maximum profit for the Events department.
  • Ability to use a personal computer in order to complete reports, invoices, computer billing, correspondence, etc. This includes a working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, AS400, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Programs (training will be given).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED; 2 year experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, event planning or weddings.
  • Knowledge of event planning in birthday and/or social events.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
